Applications are now open to serve on the Young ESDR (Y-ESDR) Board from September 2025-2028.

The Y-ESDR was officially launched at ESDR 2024 in Lisbon and the Y-ESDR Board comprises four members. Y-ESDR is committed to amplifying the voice of young dermatologists and skin scientists across Europe. Through flagship events like the Future Leaders Symposium at the annual ESDR meeting, Y-ESDR is building a vibrant, collaborative community where scientifically young scientists can connect, exchange ideas, and advance their careers. In addition, they work closely with ESDR committees and the Board and are involved in dissemination of scientific information through social media.

Criteria for Applications

* Has participated as a mentee at ESDR’s Future Leader Academy
* Is an active ESDR member and accepts our code of conduct
* Is usually 45 years young or younger at 1 September 2025
* Has relevant skills/experience in leadership, project co-ordination, social media etc.
* Has time to dedicate to the Y-ESDR’s activities and meetings

* Short CV and publication list

Deadline and Voting Procedure

The deadline for applications is 7 February 2025
The Y-ESDR board and 3 members of the Executive board will vote on applications and the two applicants with the most votes will be invited to join the Y-ESDR board after approval by the ESDR board.
We will respect a gender and geographic balance on the Board
