We are very sad to learn of the passing of Prof Hiroshi Shimizu. Honorary member and great friend to the ESDR. Outstanding scientist, author, leader and mentor we will remember Hiroshi’s energy, conviviality and warmth. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
