
Mary Kay Inc. is excited to continue its decades-long commitment to skin science and innovation by partnering with the European Society for Dermatological Research to award grants to researchers conducting groundbreaking, innovative studies in skin health and skin diseases to uncover new perspectives and intervention strategies.

We would like to thank all the skin researchers applying for the inaugural Mary Kay Skin Health/Skin Disease Research Grants in conjunction with the ESDR. The standard of applications was very high.
A Virtual Awards Ceremony was held on Wednesday 29 March 2023, 13:30 CET to announce the selected two recipients for the Mary Kay Awards 2022.
On the occasion Mary Kay Research Grants Awardees presented their current research and can share future perspectives, followed by Q/A.
Mary Kay-ESDR Skin Health/Skin Disease Research Grants AWARDEES
2022

Applications are now closed for the inaugural Mary Kay Inc. Skin Health/Skin Disease Research Grants.
Two (2) recipients will be awarded USD 20,000 grants to further research discoveries addressing an important question in human skin health/skin disease research.
Eligibility
Applicant must be:
- An active member of ESDR at time of application and throughout the award period.
- Active in investigative dermatology in a European-based department, laboratory, or institution*.
- Employed as a Resident, PhD student, Postdoctoral Fellow or Principal Investigator.
- Applicant must have a research topic focused on skin health and/or skin disease.
- Conducted research must exclude any form of animal testing.
- Be under 45 years old at the time of application.

Award Ceremony
Winners will be announced during a special virtual event this coming March just before the inaugural meeting of the First International Societies for Investigative Dermatology conference in May.
