Are you interested in developing your dermatology research interest but find challenges in your home country and require further mentorship?

The ESDR is pleased to offer a fellowship for research mentoring for a dermatologist or scientist from outside Europe to be paired with an established dermatology researcher in the ESDR to facilitate a 4-week laboratory visit (timing and duration are flexible according to individual circumstances) for training and mentorship.

Eligibility

  • Early career dermatologist or skin scientist with interest in research
  • Resident in Lower/Middle Income Country* or Least Developed Countries (LDCs)**
  • A dermatology doctor (medical doctor training or practicing in dermatology) or skin scientist (PhD student, post-doc) recognised in Lower/Middle Income Country or Least Developed Countries (LDCs)
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Past recipients are not eligible for consideration

EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATIONS

Applications will be assessed by the ESDR Global Health Committee, chaired by Konstantinos Krasagakis (GR)

  1. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a previous commitment to dermatology research and are seeking to develop their research career, and/or to advance research in their local country
  2. Applications are currently closed. Late applications will not be considered
