JID Innovations: Skin Science from Molecules to Population Health

Elsevier is pleased to announce the January 2021 launch of JID Innovations: Skin Science from Molecules to Population Health. Published on behalf of the Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) and the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR), and a companion to the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, this new international gold open access journal will publish articles on all aspects of skin biology and pathology, from molecules to population health, as its subtitle indicates.

“The SID and the ESDR are taking the bold step to ensure that advances in skin science are not only subject to rigorous peer review, but also easily and freely accessible to all the world’s scientists and to the public,” explained Dr Hall.

Call for Submissions

JID Innovations invites submission of original scientific articles, clinical trial reports, case reports and case series, descriptions of methods and new technologies, reviews, and letters to the Editor. Areas of interest include all aspects of skin science from molecular studies to population health, including studies addressing the pathogenesis and treatment of skin diseases.
