Doctoral (PhD) student position in non-coding RNAs in inflammation
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in medical research, to join our group as a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet.
The doctoral project will focus on the exploration of the role of non-coding RNAs in chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The overarching aim of the project is to understand the role and therapeutic potential of non-coding RNAs in chronic inflammatory skin diseases and to explore their function in skin biology. The doctoral student will perform functional characterization of non-coding RNAs using primary cell culture, 3D skin equivalents, patient samples, as well as animal models of skin inflammation.
The successful candidate will obtain a deep understanding of non-coding RNA-mediated gene regulation and epithelial biology.
