“The ESDR provided prestigious travel awards to enable Joanna, Florence and Karla to attend this traditional skin science meeting on the beautiful Oregon coast. We were proud to showcase such excellent European researchers from the ESDR in this context, having opportunities to interact with a wider international research community focussing on skin biology. There was a high standard of science as well as a lot of fun!”
Sabine Eming, ESDR Past President and Sara Brown, ESDR Board member

“With immense gratitude, I express my thanks to the ESDR for granting me the opportunity to attend the Montagna Symposium in Oregon through their Travel Grant. This support not only enabled my participation in the conference but also provided a unique chance to engage with scientists from diverse fields. The symposium itself stood out as a vibrant celebration of dermatological research.
I extend my genuine appreciation to the ESDR for their generous support in shaping an environment that fosters collaboration and nurtures a collective effort in understanding the biology of the skin. Their commitment extends beyond mere financial assistance; it contributes to a dynamic and inclusive scientific community. This experience has not only deepened my insight into dermatological research but has also fostered meaningful connections that will impact my path in the field.”
